Who we are
Make cyber security simple.
That has been our vision since day one. Our mission: to keep innovating, and to help people and companies through cyber security consulting.
Deteqted is headquartered in Melbourne. Our team has held leadership roles across the Big 4, large system integrators and industry, and has spent years inside the kinds of organisations we now advise, including APRA-regulated financial services and superannuation.
We are practitioners. We write the policy, run the risk assessment, establish the supplier assessment function and build the controls testing program — then hand over a capability your team owns. Our work ranges from ISO 27001 certification and APRA CPS 234 programs to supplier assurance and controls testing. For the past three years we have also engineered with frontier AI models for security — agentic security testing, AI-assisted assessment and the governance around them.
That work is also why we built ControlDesk. After years of filling in risk registers after decisions had already been made, we built the cyber GRC platform that puts the decision first.
